Can I add Delm without coding?
Yes, in product-page and featured-product sections that support Shopify app blocks. Set your delivery rules in Delm, then add the widget in the theme editor.
Older themes and other placements may need a Liquid integration. Paid plans include developer support for theme integration.
How does Delm affect my store’s loading speed?
Delm’s script is a very small download at only about 2 KB compressed. It loads in the background on all stores and requests delivery dates asynchronously from Delm’s server, with response times generally under 200 ms. With this lightweight setup, Delm should not affect your PageSpeed or Lighthouse scores.
Can I use Delm with a page-builder app?
Yes. Delm supports PageFly, GemPages, and EComposer through a Liquid code snippet. Enable the Delm Core app embed and follow the integration guide for your page builder.
Can I show delivery dates in the cart or at checkout?
You can show an estimated delivery date for each cart item with a Liquid integration. Delm does not calculate a combined delivery date for the whole cart.
Checkout, thank you pages, order confirmation emails, and order status pages are not currently supported.
Does Delm work with headless storefronts?
Not currently. Delm does not yet support headless storefronts such as Shopify Hydrogen.
Can I match the widget to my store’s design?
Yes. Choose a starter template for a delivery date, range, countdown, or timeline. Edit the message and date format, and use HTML and CSS to adjust colors, spacing, and layout.
Does Delm support multiple languages and countries?
Yes. Add translations and date formats to one widget, and Delm shows the version matching the customer’s current store language. You can also set different transit times by destination country.
Delivery rules and estimates
How does Delm calculate delivery dates?
Delm uses your delivery rules to work through processing, carrier handover, transit, and final delivery. Processing and transit times, working days, cutoffs, holidays, and blocked dates determine the estimated arrival date.
Can I set different delivery times for different products?
Yes. Set a default processing time, then add exceptions for products that take longer to prepare, such as made-to-order items. Match exceptions by product, variant, collection, tag, vendor, or inventory condition.
Can Delm account for weekends, holidays, and cutoff times?
Yes. Configure working days and cutoff times, enable public holidays by country or region, and block dates when you do not process or ship orders.
Does Delm track shipments or guarantee delivery dates?
No. Delm estimates delivery dates from your settings. It does not use live carrier tracking, guarantee arrival dates, or replace a shipment-tracking app.
Plans and pricing
What’s included in the Free plan?
The Free plan includes 3,000 widget views per month and every delivery-date feature. Paid plans add higher or unlimited view allowances and direct developer support. Every paid plan has a 14-day free trial.
What counts as a view, and what if I reach my limit?
A page load with an active widget counts as a view, as does a refresh after a variant change. Multiple widgets on one page count as one view where possible. Your allowance resets each billing month; unused views do not roll over.
If you reach your limit, widgets pause until you upgrade or your allowance resets. Delm emails you as you approach and reach the limit.
Can I change or cancel my plan?
Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly. You can change plans in Delm at any time. Cancel a paid plan to return to the Free plan, or uninstall Delm to cancel your subscription.
